Consultative Logic
A consultative logic de-mystifies the complex and presents it in ways that are easily understood and applicable to the end goal. Additionally, a consultative logic develops creative "out of the box" ideas to address business issues.
I have found that my consultative skills have helped in coming up with creative ideas for clients.
One example was approaching the IT vendor marketplace in a way that got bidders attention in a way that would not have been there initially. This ultimately led to a strong relationship and delivery of services from the IT services community to this client.
Another example is recommending the packaging of a client's privately owned fiber network that was expensive and operationally cumbersome, into the final contract with the IT vendor.
The ownership of this network was transferred to the vendor as a part of the overall agreement and scope of services. The vendor was able to leverage it across their other customers, creating a win-win for everyone.
